Nicolas De Cannière

Nicolas De Cannière is a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) (MSc Econ) and also got a Law License from the University of Leuven in Belgium.

Mr. De Cannière started his career in the M&A department of the Bank Brussels Lambert. He then joined the executive team at ING Corporate Finance in Belgium, where he also developed the Monitoring Trustee department, which issued account supervision mandates for accounts such as the European Commission, the United States Federal Trade Commission, Mofcom in China and the JFTC in Japan.

Mr. De Cannière also helped expand the operations of Panasonic Sanyo, Gaz de France Suez, GALP, Iberia, Teva, Imerys, IBM and others.

He was also an advisor for Mofcom in China, and helped devise and implement a new competition policy law. Since 2012, he has been heading High Woods Consulting, a firm he founded. This firm handles important heritage family funds, towards multi-sector investments. Nicolas also administrates several businesses and organizations.
