BDG & Partners and Fonds de solidarité FTQ announced today the acquisition of Plastube Inc., a leader in manufacturing, extrusion and tube decoration for the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, industrial of food markets.
Founded in 1963, and headquartered in Granby, Québec, Plastube provides its customers with advanced tube packaging solutions, generating added value in terms of packaging. “For over 50 years, Plastube has studied the needs of its customers and of consumers in the Canadian and the US markets. Its exclusive technology and capabilities have earned Plastube with a highly known reputation for its plastic tube manufacturing,” said Christian Turgeon, Managing Partner of BDG & Partners. “We are proud to have partnered with Plastube and are thrilled by the various growth initiatives.”

Plastube employs approximately 130 employees and sells its tubes to well-known companies like Avon, Unilever and Conair, in both Canada and the United States.
